The aggregates in the void space or joints offer permeation so long as they are not plugged.

Permeable paving system in New Zealand differs from porous and permeable paving systems. Here, the stormwater circumvents around the paver as against through it. All three forms of paving systems add to the aesthetics of the space they are being used on besides conferring several benefits to the environment.
